@Chinatown Just shot her a pm I appreciate the info!
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Any ideas on what companies offer refresher course for someone who has been off the truck for 15 years?

Only one I saw recently in the local paper was western express for flatbed, but I’d recommend giving them an extremely wide berth. I did my remedial with the same cdl school I started with after exiting the military, didn’t have to pay a whole lot, but your mileage may vary.

hey man let me ask you. that school sounds good. but i don't want to waste time or money. questions; 1) how important is steady work history-past 5 yrs i've been doing unpaid (room/board + small allowance, no verifyable proof except letter from brother) assited living help for a friend with a mental health condition. she is now permanently in a home. finally free to do me and i want to be a big rig driver. 2) how important is past dui's (felony, 3 in 5 yrs) 15 years ago. clean ever since. tried to apply to couple sponsered truck companies-declined. i want it, need it bad. will do anything! i'm 60yo but in great shape. don't mind hard work, even with a useless college degree. i can handle the truth. pls tell it to me straight. thanks. george canalos
