One of those eternal questions for O/O and lease operators. Let's put some numbers in. Let's compare, for example, 72% of line haul versus the "company advertised" 91cpm... "average".
Both of these are without fuel surcharge, let's say, so that variable is not confusing the issue. In both of these, the operator gets 100% of the fuel surcharge, as is only right!

you never really know what the rev actually IS.
some say lots of brokers/Co's like to hide it in a bunch of paperwork. or just flat out LIE about it.

well when I get a load finalized from my cordinator he calles me with the "particulars" load #'s trip #'s miles $ amounts and the agent (the agent works for the company they find loads in their area and make them avaliable to the company) and when I get my settelment sheet I can compare the amount stated by my cordinator with what is on my settelment sheet. Also I can watch the company load board and many times I see the load that is there with the rate and revenue posted for any driver to see. NOW we are paid a % of the total freight plus FSC. Are we getting the % of true freight rate? Well that is something that probobably will never really be known. You will just have to not let questions like that eat ya up......BUT if you a quoted rate and when you get your settelment and that does NOT match well that is a different story all togeather:biggrin_25511:
