We are looking for three CDL-A drivers with three years of tractor trailer experience and a clean record for the last three years.

We pay a competitive salary based on multiple factors like location, home time requirements, experience, endorsements, etc. The salary is paid via the W2 method every week no matter what happens on the road. If your truck breaks down and is in the shop for a week, you still get your full salary. If you get stuck somewhere with layover or detention, you still get your full salary. As long as you're ready to work, you get paid a full salary. In addition, you earn one day of full-salary home time for every week you are out on the road. We also have health insurance benefits like Medical, Dental, and Vision.

We are based out of New Lenox, IL. We hire from all over the US and the truck stays with you. We pull vans, reefers, or drop and hook flatbed trailers with pre-secured loads. All work is no-touch. We are a driver-friendly company and you can get a good sense of that by asking to speak with one of our current or past drivers. We do everything possible to make sure you love working with us.

Please feel free to contact us directly with questions:

Maybe some drivers are skeptical about a salary. They might feel it means 70 hour weeks most weeks. In my opinion, less and less drivers with 3+ years want OTR.

    Omnitrade Thanks this.

How much time (if any) does the driver have to spend dealing with brokers and/or finding freight?

How much support does the driver have in the event of breakdown on the road at 03:00 on Sunday? Is he on his own? Do you have new and reliable equipment or is it a crap shoot every week whether or not some sort of issue is going to come up?

Do you have direct deposit? Free cash advances? In reefer, are all lumpers paid and advanced on the spot?

Do you have PrePass and/or EZPass?

How large is your fleet today?

What is the DOT number on the side of the truck?

Hi Omnitrade... I think STexan asks really good questions and hope you will respond. Also, although I don’t know what the salary is, I congratulate you for recognizing that OTR drivers should be compensated for their committed TIME, not miles driven. I am currently between jobs, but will only consider OTR situations that offer a guaranteed minimum for every day I’m out or available. Good luck with your search!

    Omnitrade Thanks this.

Thank you for your advice, sevenmph! I can see that happening, so let me clarify. Most weeks are about 60 hrs on average, with a reset starting on Saturday afternoon or evening. We would get more drivers if we didn't require three years experience, but we've had bad experiences doing this.

Thank you for your questions, STexan! Here's the answers in the same order:

Drivers spend no time looking for freight or dealing with brokers. The only exception to this would be a particularly anal broker that will not send load info without confirming directly with the driver that we the carrier have given them all the correct info about ETA to pickup, etc. We deal with new brokers sometimes and some of them could turn out this way.

Full support. You'll have my personal cellphone and can call me 24/7 for emergencies. I will get someone out to you ASAP. We have 2011 or newer trucks and we have our own shop. Our mechanic has 25 years experience doing fleet maintenance. He's awesome.

Yes weekly direct deposit. Yes free advances, but after the first month, we try to discourage them because we are not a bank. Yes lumpers are paid and advance on the spot, usually within 5 minutes.

Yes Prepass and EZ pass. We actually have Prepass plus which covers tolls in all 48 states with very few exceptions.

We have 5 trucks today, but we're not just in the trucking business. We also have a food distribution business that is totally unrelated but larger than the trucking side.

Railroad Guy, I couldn't agree more! I drove OTR for a company myself for a few months. Thank you!

We do have the newer trucks that require ELD and no exempt trucks, unfortunately. We have not leased on a truck before and could look into developing a program for it. We do have lanes to Salt Lake City, Vegas, and few to California, but we run mostly in the midwest. We hire all over the country, but it'll be hard to get you home if you live in remote parts of the northwest states. Thank you for your questions!
