Also, I have this as my emergency heater. Should truck ever break down in winter...

Unless you leave it out and start driving that thing is safe. I do remove the butane can when done. No sense in having a flammable gas leaking into the cabDave_in_AZ and nax Thank this. -
Dave, if you have an inverter, I would recommend a George Forman grill and/or an electric skillet. I have the grill and a crockpot with a locking lid. You can do wonders with that setup. I try to pre-package the meats into single servings with whatever marinade in the bag. Then I can freeze them and stock up the fridge and freezer before I leave home. An extension cord to the catwalk and you're the envy of the parking lot. I love the looks I get from the guys walking by with their bags of fast food.
Oh, yes, you can cook your own corn dogs that way, too! -
