I have recently been diagnosed with this. The Dr said I may need a valve in ten years. He said there is no medication needed.
Most Drs. don't even hear the murmur.
What will I need to renew my medical? I have the Drs report from September this year. Will that be enough for the examination?
The Dr. said there is no disability or medication indicated.
MILD Aortic valve stenosis

You shouldn’t need anything to renew your medical. Just go in and do your physical.
tscottme and gary bourne Thank this. -
The examiner might hear the murmur. I looked at the medical form and it says any kind of heart disease.
-
At least you did not have a heart attack which after some time you can still be cleared for your cdl medical renewal.
gary bourne Thanks this. -
He said it will be ten years before it causes enough trouble.

Less meat more greens. Will most likely help.
gary bourne and bentstrider83 Thank this. -
The Dr said it is not preventable. It wasn't something I did and there is nothing I can do. I don't even have symptoms.
I guess my main question is am I gonna have to pay the Heart Dr a couple hundred bucks to fill out some paper. I just paid him $831 for the Echocardiogram. -
Good food is a good idea though.

I can ask my step father what he did after his widow maker. Which he is driving again.
