I have an AOBRD from Gorilla safety. What a piece of junk. It constantly drops connection to the adapter (bluetooth), like every 30-40 minutes, the internet stays on, but my iPad is getting hot. Also when it drops the Bluetooth connection the software puts me in "on duty". If you don't see this move and drive for awhile, you will end up with big mess in your log. Another thing is when you drive, every 2 hours or so, system adds current location and time and engine hours, that ARE NOT EDITABLE. When you edit the log from the manager account, the engine hours and location and time will show up and the LEO will see the violation. I prefer to use a good ELD device, that never disconnects and will plan ahead of time.
I even purchased Samsung android tablet, to see if the android app of Gorilla will work better, but no luck. The android Gorilla does not even connect to the adapter. The Bluetooth is searching the adapter for hours and no connection is made. Customer service = 0000000
Is it too late to purchase an ABORD device?
