I hate my Mack 12 spd Mdrive when it comes to backing and city street travels, but on the highway and the hills it's great. I thought I would like it when it came to traffic backups, but I end up going into manual mode more often than not when it's a start/stop backup. Hope ya'll's new 12 speeds perform better than the Swedish dogs 12 speed.

Actually I always go into manual in traffic, it’s just easier to maintain the gaps...and yeah hopefully the 12’s are an improvement, though I liked the I-shift I drove must better than the Ultrashift.

If they're anything like the 2017 Cascadia's, they'll be nice. 12-speed auto and not a worry when backing. I'm in a 15 now so hopefully I'll be in a 19 eventually. 1553 been a very good running truck so I'll stay with it as long as I can.

Seriously thinking about applying after 1-1-18 and have a couple of questions about Magnum. Anybody who has been there for at least a year mind a pm?? I can ask recruiter but I want the real deal. Been here almost a year, mostly everything you read or have read here is the real deal from ups and downs. I started here last January and I can complain about a few things, it’s been a cool journey... but most of the guys who have been here longer will be glad to answer your questions.
