There was a single driver for Abilene, who lived in the Houston area, and couldn't get home. Something to think about.

Old Dominion doesn't allow pets. They bought out my company and that's why I left.

Schneider teams needed out of Houston, $7500-10,000 sign on bonus per driver, 401k participation your first day, self directed option lets you invest in your own individual stocks. Teams there get newest trucks. I' m thinking about going back there just for the 401k.

Here's something for you to dream about.
When I was at Heartland there was a boyfriend/girlfriend team that saved $400,000 in 8 years and used it to build an off the grid house with acreage in Idaho.

Abilene has an all auto fleet and allows pets. Teams get brand new trucks every year. We do dry van and reefer, but I can't imagine you will need reefer specific training. Once you know how to pretrip the reefer unit and how to switch it on and set the temp (a 10 minute tutorial) you're good.

We do have freight to Houston and I have been quite a few times this year, but I don't know how regular it is if you needed to get home every two weeks etc.

    I like USA Truck.

OTR Team (both female, if that matters) - they do teams
Coming up on 6 months experience.- enough to go on without training
Based out of Houston- yhey are based on Van Buren, AR
Have a dog with us - shouldnt be a problem but ck with them
Want an automatic truck - I had one in 2012
Benefits are a plus, but the dollar is most important as the goal is to save up and buy our own used truck as quickly as possible - I was paid 334 cents a mile within 6 months with them.
Dry van only for now - that all they do

    Good luck.

Can't say I blame you about Swift. Their recruiters are something else. Never let me get a word in and told me to go through their academy to brush up on driving since it's been a while. So unless they're Nostradamus and can predict what happens in six months to a year, not signing some contract to owe back 3500 since I'm still paying off my earlier trucking loan when I got my CDL.

Nah,you don't need special training for reefer, just remember to check reefer fuel tank gauge from time to time.As a team you girls would do good hauling reefer as there is A LOT of sitting at pu's and (mostly) at deliveries.
