Absolutely. You have previous experience so possibly you could find local work, as a last resort you could always find work hauling into the US which would not be so horrible because they can always find loads to get back to TO. You may want to send out some feelers to the usual suspects who advertise monthly in Canadian Truck News just to see what they say. I assume you planning on living within 100 miles of GTA.

I can live anywhere in Ontario and would like to do the longer runs, as I do enjoy driving

We just hired a guy with 43 years of experience. If you can do the work, there is never a point when you are "too old".

Age is not a problem. We have had a new driver come to Bison that decided on a career change and went to a Driving School at 60. Not sure on exactly what is required now to get re-established. I'm 66 and plan on working for awhile yet.

I just saw this post was resurrected from December. Just wondering if you had kicked the bucket from your old age yet? I’m 53 and was trying to gauge from your oldness, how much longer I have above the dirt.

Should I be looking at caskets yet?
