Absolutely. You have previous experience so possibly you could find local work, as a last resort you could always find work hauling into the US which would not be so horrible because they can always find loads to get back to TO. You may want to send out some feelers to the usual suspects who advertise monthly in Canadian Truck News just to see what they say. I assume you planning on living within 100 miles of GTA.
