UturnGirl, when you get back into warmer weather, stop at a Pilot/Flying J and get two pieces of pizza. Once you are done, take the piece of foil that they wrap the pizza in and fold it into a square. On the front of your truck, in the middle of the bumper, is a black square radar unit. Now fit the foil over the radar unit. Use black Gorilla tape to hold the foil in place. I used it to cover the whole unit And makes it more unnoticeable. Now, this will deactivate your onguard. But you will get warnings showing up on the display unit. It will tell you that garbage is blocking the radar dish . So, you can pull the dash panel that the display is mounted to and on the back side of the panel where the display is mounted is a wire coming out of the display unit. disconnect that wire and the display turns off. Now, your cruise will not work at this point but if you manually turn the cruise on and off 3 times ending in the on position while moving down the road, you have your cruise back. No more whiplash from passing unicorns. WooHoo!!!

Also, UTG....I've had good luck at SpeedCo, (now owned by Loves), and I've found that it's best to find a vendor close to where you are frequently. That is to say, it doesn't have to be where you live necessarily, but where you go. You'll find a good one and make sure to make a relationship with them and they'll treat you right.
8 hours for a PM? I would have been gone in 7.75.....never wait until you "have to" get it done. My goal is 25k. I start looking around 23k and will run it up to 30.

    Dave_in_AZ and UturnGirl Thank this.

Thx. I used to like Speedco before. I'm trying to remember which one was so good I think in Greenwood la. My situation is complicated by the lease company. They didn't set up a 24 hr desk or even extended hrs for accessing my maintenance account. One guy and he works bankers hours! He says they will fix that soon.
Ok everybody altogether now...take a deep breath and hold it...waiting.waiting.

Gotta love the nightgunner types, around a room full of guys you won't hear a peep from him. But as soon as a female comes online to tell her story......bang 10 foot tall and bullet proof!

I got a load delivers by lake Erie today. I didn't "accept" it from a list of loads it just showed up on me. I'm kicking myself for not immediately screaming oh $## no! Cold as can be already now going toward white out conditions per weather report and guess where I'll be stuck over new year?
I've been an employee too long. I need to assert myself more with planners.

Hate snow anyway but I've got another problem. Can't get socks on my tiny Chihuahua to save my life. 15 minute struggle to get them on she kicks them off in under 5 seconds. Going to buy some of those potty patch sheets and lay them on the ice and set her down on them. But for right now not wanting to deal with ice and snow has me "frozen" in my bunk. Must get motivated.....
