What? How do you see that I called you a name? I think you're misinterpreting my comment
-
By that thinking when I quit my current job I'l be guilty of abandonment...See, I drive the same route everyday so dispatch a expecting me to keep doing the run. Once I quit, I'll still be expected to do this run...i.e. I'm dispatched for this run for the next few years.
No, declining a forced dispatch is different that abandoning a load. -
Not the same thing.
-
You refused to be dispatched on a load at a forced dispatch company they can get you for abandonment.
-
How? I'm already dispatched. This load never cancels. The absolute most that will happen is I take empty racks back and and "deliver" to the receiver and pick up more empty racks. Same exact thing as the op, and just as silly.

Gunner has very clearly stated two options, if you are a company driver, dispatch tells you where to go. If you are a O/O YOU decide where that truck goes. Anything else is foolish.
How is being a fool or foolish considered a name?
If you are a O/O great I applaud you. The problem is you are a 18 foot shark trying to swim in the poor OP's wading pool from walmart. It is likely the OP is just a bakers dozen company driver with no knowledge or desire to run the fantasyland of non forced dispatch...Gunner75 Thanks this.
