Astron RS-70m is what I use on the commercial side, they hold up well at 60 amps continues.

I built many 100 to 200 amp supplies in the past and going to put a couple together for one of my radio buddies in the next couple months. I think he will put them on eBay. I also have a few server supplied I will end up modifying for 75 and 100 amps most likely after I have my hand worked on in February.

I've got a old Samlex.I think it is a 60 amp. Not sure if it works. And I was told it wasn't really big enough to run my Texas Star 500. I'll check these suggestions out in a few days and figure something out.

    TS500?

That draws I think 50 amps with a peak of 56 amps if I remember. I have one floating around here somewhere, or maybe in the storage container and I think that's what I got had to put into it when I fixed it.

I would recommend looking into the megawatt power supplies. The meanwell rabbi linked is the cheaper, Chinese clone of the megawatt.
I've had the 36a model for a few years, only using it to power small amplifiers with no issues at all. They make a 50amp that can be run in parallel with another, and can produce about any amperage you want. For the money, they're hard to beat imo.

I also run an astron 12 i bought used probably 10 years ago. It still performs flawlessly. But astrons arent cheap, especially in the amperage range you're looking for.
If there are any hamfest coming up in your area, maybe look around and see what ya can find.:)

Thanks! I've looked into the Megawatt P.S. There are quite a few positive comments out there about them.

Megawatts are rebranded Chinese supplies, they are good and will hold up to abuse but I don't like the open cage terminal strip as a matter of safety.

I guess that explains why they cost a small fraction of this one. Hard to find "made in Japan" anymore.
