    From what I gather ridge, the megawatt p-s sold on their own website, are made in California. The ones sold on Amazon and eBay are clones.
    I agree about the power strip tho. If it is a safety concern, I'm sure something can be fab'd to box it in, and cover the terminals.
    Mine has a plastic strip that folds over the terminals, it helps...no foul ups yet, but it is somethin to be mindful of.
