They are off Monday. That’s why the call in Tues deal. I am about to leave from Indy on my N Chicago out and back. Snowed all day yesterday and with all the holiday traffic I didn’t get far enough to make it back today. This load drops into the customer without an appointment so no big deal.

Check engine light came on so going to be off till wed anyway. They said something about Jefferson City for Wed depending on the truck.

I was one of the last out this week. Yard was almost empty when I left Thurs.

Once they get your truck in order there is plenty of work.

That's too easy, brother. If you are out in the system and they have you sit, you will make more than 1k doing squat. The minimum for me, if I did nothing but wait on a load for 7 days out in the system, is 1,120.00. My first full 7 day pay period in the system grossed 1699. That's more than the average from what I hear but not uncommon at all. I head out Tuesday for Denver and will start learning more about system pay and work.

Yea I’m ready to go do something, I feel like I’ve nothing in a months basically because I haven’t lol.. I’m getting lazy, I had 4 days I had to go with a trainer then week in Greer and this past week I was off.. I hope I get some of those sweet out and back runs one day. Highpoint has a few I’ve heard of but sounds like they guys with time in have them on lock.. that’s ok I will do my time and maybe get one someday. If my trailer gets loaded I think it’s going to coal mine I think he said but I’m not sure because he did say Illinois, Idk. I still haven’t had nobody tell me how to send in for layover pay or anything. I will just figure it out I guess. Basically all the things I needed to know and asked about I was told.. I will show you that tomorrow. Well tomorrow never came I guess and still didn’t get showed lol.. I’m sure it’s just sending in a free flow message or something

Yeah just write down any layover, traffic/weather delays etc on a piece of paper and turn it in to High Point dispatch. It will be on your next check.

Bunk pay has to have a Qualcomm message but the rest does not.

When I ran system I got a mix of out and back dedicated loads and system loads. You probably will too. Coal mine is probably off I64 west of Louisville. Lots of them there.

So every morning I send a message requesting bunk pay or do it at end of week? When do you send your message for bunk pay? Just click new message and send it that way?

I usually send mine in every 3 days or so. They do payroll on Tuesdays each week so by then if you want it on the next check. It needs the travel order number on it. There is a canned form on the qualcom that you fill out and send like you do for shipment pick ups etc.

High Point actually doesn't want the layover qualcom form filled out. They prefer paper on that as it requires an action on the computer before they can send out dispatches.
