Did your company require everyone leased to get one?
My engine is exempt, but the company wanted everyone to get one to have the electronic delivery receipts as well as the logs. I have used them off and on most of my career and I actually like the convenience of it. I know my work situation is different than those drivers who are repeatedly held up at shippers and receivers.UnifiedTrucking Thanks this. -
Yes they were pushing it even if the law did not pass. This is my first time in 20 years of ever dealing with ELD's. The electronic delivery thing is good and bad. Picking up used cars I would MUCH rather use paper to be able to a inspection. Of course picking up at auctions that doesn't work but other places it was easierBanker Thanks this.

I talked to agent today in contact with a few people to get set up this week. I've been on paper for the last 11 years, not looking forward to it
