Amen to that. I still think there is only 1 plow assigned to clear U.S. 30 from Ft. Wayne to Valpo and back every winter.

Yea, Michigan is in deep trouble now for sure. What a mess. Michigan is going to have to do something drastic now. Problem is, the auto industry kept that state up and now, all the eggs are rotten and in one basket. Most people aren't going to want to move to Michigan in the cold and snow when they can live in the warm south. So, Michigan has almost EVERYTHING going against it now. VERY high taxes, weather, etc...basically a failed state really. The industrial age is, essentially, over and the lakes don't help the technological age at all. Back in the industrial age, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and such were to perfect spot due to the lakes because of the plant's needs for water, shipping, etc., etc. Now that doesn't mean anything. The labor force in Michigan is killing Michigan as well. WAY overpaid and under-worked. The one MAJOR thing I can see that will help the auto industry out FAST would be to cut off all the retirees and their benefits. The good times are over for them is what I see.

We figure to turn Michigan into one big tourist attraction. The village of Glenn has been so successful with their Pancake Festival, many other towns will try it by parking their snow plows. :biggrin_25525:

The town of Glenn, Michigan is known as the “Pancake Town”, which became famous for warmth and hospitality when local residents opened their doors to over 200 stranded motorists during the blizzard of 1937. With many unexpected visitors and a dwindling grocery supply, a delivery of pancake flour made to the local store (just ahead of the storm) became the mainstay for everyone. It was then that pancakes became the daily special for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A subsequent event known as the Pancake Festival became a legend, with the original Aunt Jemima of Quaker Oats Company making her debut.

I'm sure your post was sarcasm.

The only problem with Gore's plan is that gloBULL warming has turned into the worlds greatest hoax.

The sun spots aren't cooperating with Gore's lies.
