I bought Depo units at $30 each. Going on the 3rd year, they are still good and didn't turn yellow
Terry270 Thanks this. -
@boneebone & myself purchased some LED headlight bulb in place of the standard bulbs-so far so good.
Terry270 Thanks this. -
Get new lenses & the led lights
-
Those LEDs can't melt the snow and ice
Terry270 Thanks this. -
I just duct tape a hair dryer over each headlight assembly and turn them on from the inside while I'm driving.

It works well, plus I can use it to dry my hair before I get back into my truck.
Bakerman Thanks this. -
Yup I've got the led bulbs and I'm keeping regular ones in the truck with me in case I run into the "not melting the snow away" problem on the road. The LED bulbs are better but there's only so much they can do through yellow plastic

Not cheap but probably best solution out there. Retrofitted projectors and hid.
They also have them in black and supposedly are working on one with clear lens all around.
1996-2015 Volvo VNM and 1996-2003 Volvo VNL Bi-Xenon (HID) Headlamp Set - Deep Space Lighting -
I did see those but I think they're hideous lol. I do think a bi-zenon retrofit into the factory housing would be awesome but I don't have time for that project
-
I bought and installed the
Volvo VNL Bi-Xenon (HID) Headlamp Kit v4.0
is: Volvo VNL Bi-Xenon (HID) Headlamp Kit v4.0 - Deep Space Lighting
as well as the
Volvo VNL LED Fog Light Kit
Volvo VNL LED Fog Light Kit - Deep Space Lighting
Not cheap but not as expensive as I thought it would be but well thought out and very easy to install. My headlights and fog lights had turned to garbage, very dim and very difficult to drive in. Easy to adjust and not blinding like some others. Well worth the cost when I am driving at night and can see the road ahead now.
