I’m set to buy this truck soon and I need a place to put my QUALCOMM. When mounted the QUALCOMM will block the four switches on the right as that is the only space where it can really go. Does anyone know if it is easy to move the switches on the right over to the blank spots to the left of the vent?

The tan molding strip that's underneath the switches can slide to one side and then be pulled out. It might pull out and then slide, I don't really remember the order. Then there are screws revealed on the bottom of the panels. I think there are also plastic tabs on top of the panels that you press in to remove the panels. These tabs might be easier to access by removing the fuse panel and the smaller one to the left of it.
I'm not sure if the wires will reach that far, but now you can at least check for yourself. This will also help familiarize you with working on your own truck, in case you want to add more switches or fix an air leak behind the dash valve.Midnightrider909 Thanks this. -
I wouldn't even worry about those switches. Unlikely you will use them all that much.

I use the hill start assist button all the time to cancel it. It tends to want to activate at traffic lights or even on flat ground when I come to a stop and put it in reverse. I wish it would remain off and I could use the switch to activate it, since I've only needed to use it one time. The rest of the buttons I rarely use.

I moved all the dash switches on my volvo 670. A couple of the wires end up fairly tight, but it's completely doable. It was nice to group the switches in the order I wanted them.

If you're buying that truck new, tell em you want it that way. They want the sale they can move them for you.

Midnight, have the dealer move the switches where you want them to be, they should have no issue with it when they do the new truck prep and inspection.
Scooter Jones Thanks this.
