Why Swift?

 

Avoid any account with dollar store or dollar, etc in it. Almost all companies with these account to Dollar General, Dollar Store, and any variously named competition is the worst possible job for newbies. They are located in postage stamp sized parking lots, many off rural 2-lane roads. They are about the most difficult place to park a 70 foot combination vehicle. You are all but guaranteed to hit one or more things while trying to back into these locations, you are required to unload, and the employees would rather stare at their phones than do what they are "required" to do. These accounts are short on drivers because even though trucking companies are using a fire hose of new drivers to staff them they are also firing newbies for backing accidents at a similar rate. If they say their OTR division is full, laugh and tell them you will wait. NOBODY's OTR division is ever full. EVER.

 

I don't know, thought since its big company maybe better education and dispatching.
