I can tell you that my brokerage doesn't give a whit about how long you've been in operation, as long as your safety ratings don't suck. As my boss puts it, everyone has to start somewhere, and we'd rather have a good relationship with someone from the beginning. Now, that's not to say that there aren't others that don't.

Some try to get you to jump on the load without doing the carrier package. Be very, very wary of such "quickie" loads.

Good morning gals and guys. My authority has been active for 2 weeks. Ready to start hauling loads. Any and all help would greatly be appreciated. Who will work with someone in my position? I'm not new to trucking, as I've been driving 27 years, with 18 as an owner operator. Just new to the independent side of the game.
