Bulk express would be my choice hands down.I tried to get on with them couple years ago but they don't hire out of eastern pa.

I pull a frameless dump out of Florida, same as what CDJ does. CDJ has probably the best reputation out here as far as company dump positions are concerned, their equipment is immaculate, and I've been told several times, not only by the drivers, but the upper office personnel as well, they will not hire you if they can't guarantee you home weekends. Frameless dumps are no joke though, they will pucker you up every time you dump, but it's a challenge and one of the things that makes this job so interesting. You won't sit and wait on loads like a typical van driver, and your earnings should be 65-70 per year with them. In my opinion it's a no brainer, CDJ all day, not only for the pay, guaranteed weekends home, but again, their equipment is the best out here.

Is pulling a frameless dump hard to learn, what the most challenging part of it? How are the shippers & receivers, are they generally happy to see you unlike van or reefer. Open appointment times? Etc sorry for some many questions, just trying to get some insight on that side of trucking

Frameless dumps are a humbling experience every time you dump, if you're not nervous each and every time that bed goes in the air you might as well move on to something new because that's when bad things happen. A lot of drivers swear they would never pull one, personally I welcome the challenge, but there are days it can suck, today was a perfect example when my load of rock froze in monroeville Alabama, 4 hours later we were rolling again. Shippers/receivers are about the same, but you're generally in and out, it makes time management and productivity of an e-log much simpler. Any questions feel free to ask, I learn something new with this trailer everyday. Safe travels.
