I have Detroit Diagnostic software, my truck hooks up fine.
The Century’s Diagnostic port is on the floor by the door, correct?
They were prone to water damage. So probably your port has a wiring problem do to corrosion. Shouldn’t cost too much to fix.
There is also a fuse, 5 amp, that supplies power to the port that may be blown.

    QUALITYTRUCK Thanks this.

If you have a ELD hooked up to the port, unplug it and plug directly into truck port. Also, the fuse for the diagnostic port power is in the aux. pdm (fuse box) located in the driver side "A" pillar. 10 amp labeled diagnostic.

I could be wrong, but I dont think Freightliner ever built any Centuries here in Canada, they may have built some in Mexico, but this really does not matter for repair.
