That's it, Imery's, not sure why I kept calling it Imlers. Either way, wasn't too pleased with their scale situation, or Florida for that matter, they issued me a 15 dollar citation for that 300 pounds I didn't account for, seems pretty petty but what could I do? I guess I'll be more aware of their scales next time, that was my first time loading there.
to all end dump haulers...

It was mine as well for the rate I got I’m hoping to never have to go there again as well sucks the scale house was petty I’m sure you showed them your scale ticket and they gave some crap response of how it’s the drivers responsibility to ensure you’re legal

Y'all have a safe week, I'll chime in as a have something interesting to report, I mainly run back and forth to Alabama from Florida all week so there's not much variation. I'm glad to see an active thread though pertaining to what we do, should make for an interesting read in the evenings.

Are most of you running under your own authority? Or leased to someone? I’ve noticed a few company drivers as well.
NightWind Thanks this. -
I may reactivate one day but for now I’m leased to a carrier since this is the first time I’ve ran a end dump over the road
NightWind Thanks this. -
I'm a company driver for a carrier based out of Florida. We have somewhere around 200 trucks, only 15 of us running regional/OTR with end dumps though, most of our work is local to Florida.
NightWind Thanks this. -
Company driver here also out of Kansas City KS

@blade I found something worse than DDG if you can believe it. Pond fines. If that ever comes across as an option for you, run far, and run fast. It has the consistency of pudding and the stickiness of tar.
It’s almost as if someone thought, “let’s invent the most annoying substance ever. Got it? Perfect. Now let’s load it on a truck and see what happens. It sticks like puddy to any metal in touches so be sure to book an aluminum trailer.”
NightWind Thanks this. -
