North by NorthEast by Choice - the saga of sadwar continues

I'm basically running my own show under the carrier I leased too, posted a thread about them under favorite company section.
Solely working off DAT load board, $4-$5 a mile all the time, sometimes more with no Northeast.
If someone is interested in working the open market, I'm open to sharing what I've done and is possible.
In my opinion I believe one can make a lot more money with their own authority or even leased to a carrier giving up 10-15% while working the open market vs to leasing to a carrier and being stuck with what freight they offer you.

 

So where we at? only @sadwar @TennMan and @rickybobby are the only ones left that haven't jumped ship?
I don't think @rickybobby will ever leave because he never leaves the house anyway lol

I'm too lazy to leave. I already have a part time job. Having your authority is a full time job. I used to have my own numbers, before I got deployed in 2012. I have a 5 yr plan and I'm sticking too it. Lol

 

This thing of getting my own authority just got real...I put a down payment on a trailer. Most of us have or are out of Schneider now.

 

2015 you we're at SNI weren't you?

 

I'm here but like molasses in the winter, I'm slow in making a move. Good news is that Spring is coming soon with Summer to follow.

 

And now the important question when does Brewing season begin?
