I have just graduated a PTDI school with a GPA of 99% and they just got me approved, however I was wondering if after your 8wks training period if you get some hometime either before or after you are assigned a truck? Thanks for any input!
-
if im not mistaken it shoud be during ,home time is every 4 weeks
-
I've just finished my PTDI schooling too and will be starting with Crete around Jan 5th. From what Crete told me yesterday, Weazz is correct, they'll get you home after 4 weeks for approximately 4 days. I'm looking forward to getting going with them. Cheers, GD

Hey if either of you can, ask for mark as a trianer if he's avalable...great guy and fun to pick on.. it helps make the training go fast with someone thats easy going. but then if you get evertrucker on here as a trainer that could be fun also. keeps us posted on how it goes. i've read some funny things about trainers here.
(the one that chews was funny, poor trainee)
Arthur Dent Thanks this. -
Thanks Weazz. Perhaps if ET reads this and his training schedule permits, he can PM me his name so I can request him as a trainer. I will attempt to make weekly posts during training to provide updates on how it's going. Being sensitive to not bringing too much stuff along during training, is bringing a laptop pushing the edge? Thanks, GD

I thought the samething, bring the laptop..you'll regret it if you dont and maybe a SMALL inverter incase he dont have one..lol
bring blanket and pillow(s) you prolly wont need a towel but bring 1 jus in case and a coat or jacket for the season,it gets cold standin there getting fuel. or make the trainer get out and pump it
all i brought was 7 days of clothes and dreampt about my puter

I'll send you a PM, but I will probably be picking up a trainee from the PHX area after Christmas hometime. Not to mention I prefer to stay as far away from PA of late, especially now that the snow is flying

Keep your personal effects to a minimum. Space it tight, even more so if your trainer has a truck equipped with an APU. Definitely bring your lap top. It will help to pass the time if you get hung up waiting for a load.
Good luck and drive safe. -
Yeah going through snowshoe pa during a snow storm is always fun

top 5 comapny i hear...good luck..
