I hav e a 96 Pete with 500 hp cat Not enough power to pull the hat off your head. I have a 96 Mack with a 350 that will out pull the Pete. I have had turbo rebuilt, new boost sensor, new fuel pump. I have tested cooler and have run overhead. Old and new pump both show 75 pounds pressure at 2100rpm. Both boost sensors will only build to 18 lbs. Do I have ecm problem or is it fuel? Stumped can anyone help!

Cat spec is 78 psi @ idle and 93 psi @ high idle. Checked pressure when you have it under load? Could be pressure regulator valve in fuel manifold block. What shape are your fuel suction hoses in? If original due for new ones!

What he said^^^^^. Hook a fuel pressure gauge up and see what it is at low idle then bump it up to 1500 rpm. It should increase. Then with gauge still hooked up shut engine off and watch gauge. If the pressure falls off to zero instantly then the check valve is bad. If pressure is good when running and holds pressure after shutdown then it is ok. Check CAC for leaks. If original fuel lines they maybe swelled up causing a fuel flow restriction.

I have a 2000 w900L 6NZ,and the fuel vents was bad,I hear that a new injector wiring harness,on those old E motors really helps out horsepower, the fuel lines should be replaced,if they are original.
