Don't shower at the TA, Loves is great if you only need 50 gallons of fuel and when you go inside you don't mind saying excuse me a hundred times as you keep bumping into people

I have some great ideas, first you don't get to park where you want, all reefer and loud APU's will be in the back, but don't worry we will have shuttle service to get you to the front door, every space would be set up for a specific type like flatbeds, doubles, car haulers and so on that way people won't have to worry about a reefer or loud ### APU pulling next to them. If your there all weekend it might pass the time along better because having the same hauling trucks next to you might spark up more conversations between drivers. Heavy and oversize loads would have larger that normal spots and would be up front to get to the road quicker and so as not to have to bebop around other trucks. Hotshots would be kicked off the lot, this is for big trucks, go find a rest area for your tiny load. With 700 parking spots no need for reserved parking at the Truckers Paradise, 51 showers, huge section of accessories for your truck, 3 restaurants and 3 different bathrooms for men and women. If you stink you will have to take a shower before entering our premium truckers lounge. If you don't know how to back your truck any one of our female associates will back your truck into a spot so you don't have to look like a putz to other drivers. At the Truckers paradise its all about fun and space, not responsible for late loads due to having too much fun.Steel Dragon Thanks this.

As I said when I started this thread, I'm not a big fan of Loves. But no other company is opening up new stops at close to this rate. I just read where they plan to open 40 new stops with around 3000 truck parking spaces in 2018.

I love it...jjj

What they need, as I have mentioned to them (Loves) is more parking at each center. They draw in way more trucks at times than they have parking for. They could also open a center in or around Xenia, Ohio on US 35, Montgomery, Al, on I-40 before going into the gap eastbound, and one around Orlando-it would be a big help.

Us super truckers as you call us, are driving day and night while you newbies are in the game rooms, and backing up the fast food lines in the loves and Pilots. Because you must shut down and be in a travel plaza no later then 5pm so you can be in bed by 8pm before mommy and daddy find you trying to stay up past your bed time.

I drive nights too, but Loves is a welfare truck stop, lots of dirt lots, no choice in their stores, 2 fuel pumps, good for you, I will stick to Petro, huge parking, gigantic store, tons of chrome for your truck, a real mans truck stop, showers bigger than any Loves mens bathroom for sure, and much cleaner tooTriple Digit Bullhauler Thanks this.

Nothing but car gas stations with their name on itTriple Digit Bullhauler Thanks this.

Steel Curtain you are right! Petro has been my first choice for over 30 years with TA a close second. Flying J gets an honorable mention among the rest. Only a truck stop with large paved parking lots and a sit down restaurant is where I'm going. The drivers that want to visit the Pilot's to line the pockets of the millionaire Haslam brothers can have my spot. Loves is just like the Pilot's except they are the only ones on a mission to add more stops even if not very desirable. Just my thoughts on the matter.Triple Digit Bullhauler Thanks this.
