    Looking into getting a '93 Kenworth T600 with 3406b engine(inframe 70k back)
Do I need some kind of print out from a dealer to prove that I'm exempt or registration with manufacture Year is sufficient?
    Also,your opinion on the engine?

    No.

And no. It can be a good engine. Do your due diligence to make sure it will not crap out on you.

When a B model is right they are spectacular. The men that can get them right are becoming extinct. Also keep in mind a truck that age could have any kind of work done to it. Miss matched parts can be a nightmare. I have had countless b models brought to me for no power and find its 425 was replaced with a 310hp. Never ends well at that point

The 3406B rates right up there with one of the best engines ever made IMO. They will run forever with good maintenance but repairs can be costly. Luckily they don't break much but if you have a small problem, you better take care of it so it doesn't turn into a big one.

I've still got a old guy that knows the old Cats inside and out. He can get more HP out of a 3406 than most people can handle (got to know when to let out of it before meltdown).
