Then they'll ship people in from Mexico or overseas. If necessary, they'll do what they did during the hurricanes, and suspend DoT rules to enable other people to drive the trucks. Then they'll convert to automated or drone (remotely-controlled) trucks, and pay some Pakistani peasant $0.50 per hour to drive 20 trucks at once. This is the direction that the industry is already going, anyway.
If you think that American truck drivers are seriously essential enough to make demands, then you probably also still believe that another American revolution is still a practical possibility.
Lead the way. It's always fun to watch the agitators. They're happy to tell everyone else what to do or not do, they're the last to follow their own advice, and they're the first to complain about any annoyance resulting from others following their advice...
