Hey all I have an issue with a clutch on a 2009 prostar with fro 10 speed and cummins isx. To make the story short, the truck was dropped off with me with a bad engine and no transmission and alot of parts missing. I've got the engine replaced. Correct transmission installed and have the truck drivable.

Now the clutch I had to adjust the rod to transmission as short as possible to get the clutch even close to working right. It just barely touches the clutch brake with the correct distance between throw ut
Bearing and brake. The best I can do is 3/8 of distance between yoke and throw out bearing.

So I double checked the lever on bellhousing outside transmission by vin and its correct. I bought a new adjusting rod, thinking maybe it was straightened out/bent. Still doesn't work. Actually the new one doesn't adjust as short because of the new design. So I went inside the bellhousing and found out by vin, this truck came with a roller clutch yoke instead of a standard yoke. Thinking that it would be at different angles to allow everything to work right. Now the new yoke doesn't fit around the throw out bearing on the clutch. I verified the clutch is for use with a standard yoke, not a roller. So I was given the incorrect clutch with this truck.

With that being said. Before I buy a new clutch and possibly still having the issue of the clutch not being adjusted right. Is there anything else that could be wrong or that I'm missing? Do they make different shafts for the yoke that allow the yoke and lever to be at different angles so I can still use the standard yoke?
Btw the rest of the clutch linkage on the truck is not bent or been tampered with. This clutch was working fine before it was taken to a shop and have all this happen.

I just removed all the cross shafts and bought new ones. They were the same part number but the old ones were worn on the inside skyway some and bent somehow. Doesn't look like much but it made a world of difference. Gave me a couple more inches of room to be able to adjust the clutch rod to get the clutch working perfectly. Wonder how those get bent?
