That is pretty much it. Cat is perceived to be a "macho" engine. "Strong like bulldozer" and all that hype.

Same with Harley. They haven't made a good motorcycle in 40 years. Pan was probably the last good reliable Harley.

It's all about image and fashion.

I`m sorry.Wasn`t meaning as an attack. If I offended any CAT lovers I apologize.Shouldn`t kick a man when he`s down. With CAt leaving the truck market I thought I better make use of this opportunity.Couple of years CAT will be as forgotten as the Edsel, the Pacer and the Vega.

Has anybody heard anything on the DAF Paccar motors ? HP ratings, torque ratings, etc. And yes Mr Hoffa, we all know that FAST Women, Fast Trucks and fast cars are "NO GOOD", but man are they fun.

Harley Davidson? Good Motorcycle? Really you believe that?

Assembled in the USA with Mexican parts lol.

A Honda is more American made than a Harley is now

My family owned a Yamaha dealership for over 25 years and we serviced all makes, so I know something about this. Harley Davidson didn't START making good motorcycles until after the AMF days, unless you think something that leaks like a sieve, breaks down constantly, and requires major service regularly is good. Harley's warranty is easily comparable if not the best in the business. You say that they're crap because of where the components are made? That's like saying a child is doomed to a life of crime because he was conceived in New Jersey.

As far as Honda being more American Made than Harley, yes, they have a couple of US factories, but all of the components are offshore in origin. Sorry, but you're making less and less sense to me.

Harley hasn't made a good motorcycle since before AMF.
