ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The skeletal remains of a small child were found Thursday in woods less than a half-mile from the Orlando home of a missing 3-year-old girl, but officials could not immediately say whether they belonged to the toddler.
A utility worker found the body in the outlying middle-class suburb about 9:30 a.m., Orange County Sheriff's spokesman Jim Solomons said. There was nothing that immediately indicated that the remains were the body of Caylee Anthony, he said.

DNA results will take 2 days if put on priority, according to the medical examiner, a 2 year old's gendercan't really be identified from skeletal remains without DNA.

The missing child's' mother is in jail. This is nothing but heart wrenching for anyone aware of the case.,

I have been watching this for months now, and have said all along the mom did it BUT I think her mother helped get rid of the evidence....the dad/grandpa is an excop he has even said things that made me think he knew what had happened and was trying to get his daughter to just tell the truth and get it over with.

It is so very sad that poor baby, betrayed by the one person she should have been able to trust!

Do you? I've thought the mom did it too, but I thought the grandmother was trying to get her to confess. I thought that from the videos of the grandfather and grandmother visiting the mother in jail. Maybe it's just because I'm a grandmother?

Breaks my heart six ways to Sunday. If the mother didn't want to be bothered by that child there's so many people who'd have loved and cherished her.

All I know is that this is heart wrenching and despicable, that poor little girl (if in fact deceased ) didn't have a chance to live a long life... So sad!

As far as who did it... I believe the vast majority of us should no nothing of the legal case, period!

I believe people(loosely) like that beast of a women Nancy Disgrace have their own room reserved in hell... Using the possible death of a child for nightly injections of ratings is beyond despicable!

If those are her remains and if the mother did this, the one thing that sticks in my mind is how anyone could do that to their own child, I mean if you didn't want a kid there are other and legal ways to not have a kid
