    The fuel card thing is kinda crappy. However, the turnpike thing I totally understand. PA turnpike rates for commercial vehicles are ridiculous, and you have perfectly viable alternative routes for them. Instead of I476 try RT309 up to I78, or if you are going more east try RT611. Both are fine for trucks. Sliding scale on loaded miles depends on what the lowest rate is and at what distance it kicks in. 30cpm for empty miles, no way. Lol

    I get the toll road thing, too, but I don't know of any other company that has toll road restrictions that doesn't allow use of 476.

    PA309 is perfectly fine for trucks but the sheer amount of traffic and lights makes it an agonizing trip. I've done it a time or two when 476 was shut down due to a wreck.

    I don't even understand why anyone would have to ask whether to stay or not !

    I would have stood up as soon as they said call for fuel and walked right out into the sunset and never looked back .
