I drive a Volvo, air ride and all with 440k on it. It drives smooth and has power everything. It's a union company and paid by the mile for all drive time and hourly for anything else.

I put in a whole 277 miles and day then work the dock at my turn. With my drop/hook, fuel, wait time and dock I'm on the clock around 4.5 hours a day.

i think the most i ever did that i know of was around 714----Tucumcari, NM to Needles, CA.

But since this is an LTL thread, i believe i average about 80-100 miles a day?

We average about 250+ miles per day with 2-5 stops at $30/hr, averaging 8.5 hours per night, driving 2018 Cascadias (I actually drive our "old" truck, a 2017 Cascadia, because I don't care for the newer ones).

1100 in a car is about 15 hours or so, in a truck it's about 25 hours, a little different

    25hrs?
More like 17... easing along.. unless you're running from Trenton NJ to Providence, RI back and forth for kicks mid day.

    You gotta get after it.

    Intothesunset Thanks this.

As a driver I would much rather drive my Pete as my Z28 as far as distance is concerned, less stress not more.

Intothesunset and Steel Curtain Thank this.
