I was wondering if I should persue my issue with JB and what they put on my DAC.
I left Werner, and decided to go with JB on their PPG dedicated account. I got there and passed everything except their driving test. They said, I went to fast down an offramp. Failed to yeild to a vehicle on the side of the road.. All kinds of stuff.
All crap.
Problem is, all the points added up cost me my driving test. I asked what would happen. They said, you DAC would show I worked for JB for 4 days and that I was welcome to come back in 3 months and try again.
I said no thanks and went home.
When I applied to Melton they said my DAC showed I got "terminated" from JB. Now, I have a negative mark on my DAC when they said it wouldnt.
Do I have any recourse? should I let it go? I am working at Melton, I just dont want it to haunt me for jobs later down the road.

Did you recieve ANY pay at jb hunt????
You still can always write a rebuttal statment to be placed on your DAC, but this
is what jb hunt does to people...If you cant make it at jb hunt, they will do their
finest to make sure you cant go anywhere... -
yeah, they paid me for orientation.
-
Sorry, then you did work for them... So they can list it on your DAC!
You can try and dispute the firing with DAC or you can just list on future applications that you went to their orientation only!psanderson Thanks this. -
Even if he did not get paid for orentation but accepted the bus ticket, motel room they can still hit is dac for termination.
I am not saying it is right but that is the way alot of companies are. -
I guess i should just let it go.
I got a good reference from Werner and Melton accepted me. And when I passed their driving test the instructor couldnt figure out why JB let me know. That JB instructor just had it out for me.
