I can see Ground doing some crap like that, but this is the first I’ve heard of it on the Freight side.

    Gotta love linehaul drones...

I can only imagine the DOT cop’s reaction... and no doubt it couldn’t have been a pleasant sight.

You have thorns and rocks on your brake pedal? That’s odd.

Quote from your post. “Ever step on a sharp rock? Or a thorn? Barefoot, your instant reaction is to draw the foot back up. If that happened during a panic brake, well, it could end bad for you.”

I guess you could have been implying the brake pedal could be sharp but that never been my experience. If I’m driving otr and not local if driving in my scocks. Never had an issue.

Gotcha. I haul frac sand. Always out in the rocks, sometimes weeds, etc. Ya never know what you’re gonna track into the truck. I take the air hose and clean the floor pretty often, but there’s always that chance I’m not willing to take.

I was just pointing out that in the wrong situation the unthinkable could happen. Probably never will, but you never know.
