In Sept. 08 I signed up to go to Roadmaster. They gladly took my money (paid in full). The Fri. B4 my start date they told me I had to many points on my licence. The points have now dropped off. I'm looking at this school, but don't really know. I am willing to be trained and I want to get a good start. Let me know if there is any thoughts about this school.

Not sure of how good the school is but my wife is taking her class at FCCJ in Jacksonville. I will be going to National in GreenCove Springs in Feb. I like their set-up as well as any. GL

I went to National in Oct 1998 and enjoyed it, they did not just take my money, they do a LOT of training if you do the 3 week course or you can do a weekend course, but that would take a long time. Google them and check out their site.
They are an accredited school for training drivers & when I was there, the instructors were ALL OTR drivers with many yrs of experience. They also offer a free test drive if you are still unsure of the school. School has been around for 30 yrs, must be doing something right.Last edited by a moderator: Dec 10, 2008

I went to National Training Inc. in GreenCove Springs FL. Great Instructors and a pretty intensive training course over the three weeks. They do have a shifting track onsite that helped alot getting shifting down and plenty of time on the backing pads to get the idea of backing down.
We had 5 daylight drives and one night drive in the area that gets you an idea of how it will be out on the road.
