The new Pilots, with the brand-new automated shower system? Has anyone noticed....

Haven't been to one but read about it in the Pilot magazine

 

Have not heard that one yet...pilots never have enough showers and i dont want to wait 5 hours to take one.

 

I love the new system. They tend to be kept up with now instead of waiting for an emty shower to be cleaned when it has been emty for hours. also if 4 guys show up at the same time needing a shower 9-10 times the other 3 go to the counter whilst I go to the kiosk and get a shower ASAP.

 

I hear ya . I was hoping the " new automated system" meant they automatically cleaned themselves . Most of the time when you wait for a shower at the Pilot it isn't because they are being used . It's because the help is too lazy to clean them . Next time you're told there are no showers available walk on by the key drop box and see how many keys are in it .

 

Three words. Falls Creek, Pennsylvania.
Some Pilots are horribly under staffed.

 

hate to break this to ya guys and gals, pilo has had that system on the west coast for over two years.

 

Work at a Pilot and the biggest issue with our showers is people asking for a 2nd towel then we have a wait for the towels to dry. Especially irritating when someone asks for a 2nd towel and use it as a floormat.

 

Hey, when I ask for the second towel, it's so my wife and I can use the same shower and only make you clean one

 

Then maybe Pilot, and other truck stops,should consider giving us something a bit more substantial than that paper "floor mat", that does no good, anyway, and sticks to yer feet, to boot!

Haven't showered at a Pilot for awhile, but I guess with the J and Pilot merging, things are gonna be changing to Pilots version, now, and I'll end up taking a Pilot shower, after all...
