It would take a lot more than 5,000 to make me live in Midland again.. Just sayin
austinmike and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
Have they fixed the pay scale? I left in 2014 when they messed with the per barrel plus accessorial and went to low hourly plus low per barrel plus low accessory pay. My daily average in Oklahoma was over 400 bucks in 2012. Pay changed, 375 ish and longer days in 2013. Then after the last pay change while in their employ, I was in the 200 to 250 dollar per day range working a full 14.

Hourly plus percentage average about 450 a day

Yeah if I'm not mistaken I think they laid off a bunch of drivers in 2014. AlanTX sounds like a recruiter. Going on and on about a $5,000 sign on bonus. Enterprise is part of the good old boy Network

If it was my dream job I wouldn't need a sign on bonus. -
I had enough of West Texas.

Enterprise can be a #### good place to work. Just stay out of the politics, and hope that your field trucking supervisor is not a tool. I had 3 great managers. One retired. The guy that replaced him liked to screw with people. Even being one of the "preferred hands" I felt his micro management in my paycheck over and above the company messing with the pay scale.
They have awesome insurance, 401k match, separate 401k retirement, stock options, great vacation time .... It "can" be an amazing job.
As said though. Unless you are a masochist that loves West Texas / New Mexico .... all that plus 5k wouldnt lure me to the area. The next bust will put you out of a job.rabbiporkchop and austinmike Thank this. -
My original post didn't load for some reason, but I looked after seeing this thread and could not find any current ads. Definitely nothing stating a 5K sign-on bonus. The most recent driver post was from early January, so I don't know where he saw this. Also, during my travels all around West Texas, Enterprise seems to be the one company who always has to wait to unload. It's like they have one or two places in a certain area and everyone has to go there, making for long wait times. No thanks.

Don't let 'em suck ya out there into that God forsaken place. When the next bust hit's, you'll have to live in a tent eating jackrabbits, filleted ratlesnakes, cooked over a fire made with dried cow pies with prickly pair cactus as your veggie. That's about all else there is to do out there.
