Looking for a change thinking of tanker I live in South Jersey and have 2 years exp in reefer

    Looking to get into tanker I have 2 years exp in reefer I live in South Jersey. Currently I'm local I drive in North Jersey and NYC. I hate it lol. I would like to stay local or semi local I have small kids n a wife so staying out weeks at a time just isn't going to work right now. Anyone know any tanker outfits near me that is local (besides fuel tanker) or regional. Also if the company will train me to do the job. Thanks in advance.

    Venezia has a yard behind the KW shop on 322. They run oil out of Paulsboro.

    Cool thanks how's there pay..I pass there drop yard in South Plainfield by halls. But never get to talk to them.

    You got tank outfits all around you I’d try the gas outfits first. (If you want to be home every night)

    I really didn't wanna go that route with fuel. I heard don't get paid that much for what u haul.

    yea and they pay great but you won't be getting home.my buddy has worked there since 07 last week he grossed 2500.

    Venezia pay is by the mile plus load/unload and detention after 2 hours. They run all 48 plus Canada. Oil loads all hours of the day, but you have to do very little work. Most unloads are done by the customer.

    I hate took say it, but have you thought of QC? They'll train you and I'm sure they have local/regional. You're in the 2nd best chemical location in the US.
