Tested positive for pot but don't smoke!!!!!

    I just took a random the company called told me my test was invalid so the doc asked me for all my meds for last 30 days he called back today told me they were canceling that test because they can't explain why I tested positive for marijuana and that I need to be retested supervised I asked for a hair follicle test because I never smoked it I never ate I can't even smoke cigarettes because of allergies I can't figure out why I tested positive I think the hair test is my best proof their test was wrong

    **Weird situation......keep us posted. One explanation could be; being present in an environment like; Club, House or Location were it was being used. Being exposed to the Smoke will bring those results. Weird.......

    Go back ASAP./ Take your Meds. with You, if any.
    Get re tested by the same Lab.
    If is Pos. again.....then request a 2nd Lab Opinion to your Co.

    It had to be a split test. Your test cup divided into two parts. Tell them you want the other sample re-tested and find a good, reputable lab to do it.

    There are a few things that will cause a false positive but usually they do a more in depth test. Hope you get it straightened out and please keep us posted.

    I have to go in morning for a supervised re test I told the doc that call me they can hold the cup for me and I requested a hair test to make sure no more mistakes
