Gemini Motor Transport (Love's)

I’m all for the money like and trucker out here and while I look at that you have to look past that for as benefits and stability and all and I find all that at gemini heck I would put them over Walmart for as driving...if I was OTR I would haul for PraxAIr them boys make bank and get paid for every lil thing. Yep I will easily take the risk and haul hazmat any day over dry van,car hauling, etc...

 

Yes, i knew the new store in Hope Hull had opened up. Their are 3 openings in AL now, Muscle Shoals, Shorter & McCalla stores.

 

Anyone know anything about the RM in east texas. Im moving to Van next weekend, and they have an opening posted for that location.

Any information greatly appreciated.

 

Yes, I know him very well. His name is Jimmy Villareal. He's a pretty good guy. Kinda hard to figure out at times. He's got one of those personalities where it's hard to know if he's joking or serious at times least to me he does.
Van actually has two stores and two trucks. I think the position you would be working is a weekend shift F-M but don't quote me on that. I delivered to the old store a ton when I worked for them.

 

Anyone here still active with Gemini? Was talking with one their guys today and he said they're now taking people on straight out of school. In the PNW the labor market is very tight so I guess I can see their need to drop the hard 2 year experience requirement. Is Gemini doing this nation wide?

 

It's up to the RM if your hired straight out of school or if they are going to require you to have experience. Every RM is different.

 

That Opening in Van caught my eye today. I live close to there. Would that driver park the truck at Van for his days off? How much does it pay?

 

The trk will always be at the trk stop when not in use. Pay is 55k-58k

 

It probably runs as much as possible with slip seat action going on. Thanks!
