When a company asks you to bring a medical examination report and a medical card to orientation, are they referring to my paper work from when I did my DOT physical?

More than likely you will be stuffed with a physical again from THEIR OWN DOT Doctors.
Physicals have no value to companies. They will impose costs and time giving you a physical AGAIN. AND AGAIN AND AGAIN.
I had a physical done once three days prior to orientation. Happenstance for renewal.
They sent me to their doc for a physical anyway.
