Anyone know the status of the driver? I passed the scene half hour or so after it happened, Emergency crew were standing on the side of the road, jaws of life and cutting wheel tool in hand while a winch was pulling something up to the road from the truck.

If it is a small winch the size of a hospital gurney, those are commonly used to hoist dead bodies or more often transfer patients who are vegetable from one thing to another in nursing homes. If the crew are standing around with the jaws, it's appears to me they have done their work and waiting for either the corpse or the person to be extradited.
I always over insure my Fed Ex shipments. Sometimes they are high dollar hobby stuff that cannot be replace for love or money due to limited production.mjd4277 Thanks this. -
That was what I was thinking. The local news didn't have a status as of noon time, and I can't find a later broadcast.
Seems like the majority of accidents I see involve FedEx. I stay clear of them whether I'm in my big truck, or the little one.x1Heavy Thanks this. -

No, I just read about that one on CDLlife. The one I was referencing was at the other end of the state.Last edited: Feb 24, 2018
