OK .So far...Bumped the motor to 550HP and 1850 Lb Torque. Had several intermittent turbo actuator codes in history within the last 400 hours. Replaced the turbo electric air actuator. Possibly a good reason it lacked power if the engine wasn't making enough boost. Removing the EGR valve tomorrow and blocking off the hole then putting it back on. Plugging the EGR tube as well. Checked the driver history and he is not abusing the truck at all. Sending him out and we'll see what happens.

I know this might sound like “duh” but I’ve seen it before....if it has a 13 sp. trans , be sure the driver isn’t driving it like a 10 sp. I had one tell me he was told to never flip that little red switch on the side of the shifter knob.....so he never did and got 4.2 mpg consistently.....o_O

I have GPS installed in all trucks. Just checked the computer, he is not abusing the truck at all.

I recently put up a post about the c15 cat I’m using drinking fuel as well.

It was tuned to 550hp/1,850tq from 475hp/1,850tq factory.

That tune from Cat is not efficient.

I had a reputable tuning company come to our company and fix a few things in the ecm and turn off the egr.

Power is now increased to 575hp/over 2,000 some tq.

Burned the same fuel amount of fuel as the lame 550 tune but hauls way harder with a heavy load.

Easy driving netted better economy than the previous tune.

No more engine lights and half power limp noodle mode.
