I haven’t been on here in quite some time, but wanted to share that i paid off my 2nd truck. I have an employee in one and I drive the other. I was at Bee-Line in Houston at the start about 5 years ago and left to see how green the pastures really were. Well, I’ll be the first to admit that was a mistake. I came back to Bee-Line about 6 months ago and was able to payoff my 2nd truck to the bank EARLY! Not sure how many of you out there that are O/O’s can say you were able to payoff your truck early, but it feels good to not have a truck payment and be making some solid money. Hope everyone out there is doing well.

"Making some solid money" is the attitude that gets many in trouble if they're in it for the long term. That note payment expense should NEVER go away in terms of your budget. It needs to be allotted for future down payments or other capital purchases or major repairs.
Some take that money and put it into a bigger house or a new boat, then 6 months later their truck is totaled and needs to be replaced, or otherwise needs $20k worth of new engine and the money is not there. Just don't be "that guy" is all I'm saying.slickricky, AZ Pete and nax Thank this. -
And you put this in the wrong thread section. Happy you paid off your 2nd truck. But as STexan said don't get ####y and start throwing yourself a parade. Can turn around quick. Save your money. Never know when it will be needed.
slickricky Thanks this.
