Maybe i should have said "you" instead of _you_, but I think you know what was meant. :)

Passing someone in a closely governed truck is the ultimate showdown. After five miles, who will back out of it first? Is the traffic behind the left lane truck calling his company? Will the 5k pound lighter difference on the hill be enough to help him pass? Will the extra 5k pounds help the slower truck on the descent? Will they eventually come up to an on ramp that forces the right lane truck to slow down begrudgingly?

Any time you see two trucks drag racing side by side for miles, I hope you realize it’s two drivers exemplifying courtesy and professionalism.

You could take the right lane like the Freymiller driver did to get around a couple of Swifties blocking the highway!

If you can't complete the pass you have no business initiating the pass.

Love it when the ####### is on the phone and his speed keeps changing.
You pass the #######,then a minute later he goes flying by you again.
I constantly try to keep traffic around me flowing smoothly.
I'll slow down and help a guy get around me.
Most drivers I see just care about themselves. :jerk::munky2::violent3:

I have no problem letting off throttle to allow you to pass. My strategy is since I only run two lane highway you will be in charge of corralling oncoming traffic into their own ####ing lane, getting them to dim ####ing lights and spotting ####ing moose

Why should I have to back it down? If you can't pass me then why in the hell did you try. Most of the time I'll back it down and let them go, Don't want to be caught in a pack
I cruise the right lane at 64 ish, But have 3mph left on my pedal, If I catch someone I'll pass them like I mean it..

    Grrrrrrr....

I see that crap all day long and drives me nuts. There isn’t much more annoying than the guy that floors it as soon as you appear in his left mirror.

I can’t really bust a driver’s chops in good conscience for that if he can at least run the speed limit +5 or so.

OK. Using your logic then, over a 100 mile stretch you would have a caravan of trucks who knows how long in the slow lane going about 55 to 58 miles an hour. Because according to your logic, a truck governed at 65 should not pass a truck driving 55 or 58 miles an hour. Does that really make sense?

    sdaniel Thanks this.
