I hate being home!! Guess I have the truckin traveling bug But I won't be going out again until March unless the house sells before then.....But I very much doubt it will sell in a hurry.

I thank god every day that JJ got great FM......She does her best to work with him and he seems one of the few drivers to be still getting ok miles.

 

I took your advse jess and have called my recruter several times now and asked when am i suposed to start school. All i get is yea man when you want to start? i got ya down to start fist of jan and thats all i can get out of him no other information about what i need to have to start with or an exact date where to go too. what time class starts nothing. i am just starting to get discourged. has this happened to anybody else? also from the time that you submitted your app. till the time you actually started school how long did it take? i've been dealing with this for a month and a half. i don't want to jump the gun to quick but i think i might need to start looking elsewhere. any help or info is greatly appreciated

 

Already on it, think I'm going to switch when I swing by the Fontana terminal tomorrow.

 

Does Central expect you to chain up? Also, just curious on how much of your freight (refer) is drop and hook? Thanks and Drive Safe!

 

Chaining is up to you, I have done it once because it was only going to get worse if I stayed where I was. If they give you crap about it just call safety & that should be the end of it.

D/H's are hard to call. I would say about 30% maybe 40% are D/H's, depends on where you are & the customer you are heading to. Always ask Central or the shipper before you head to pickup your load because they never tell you if it is a preloaded or not.

 

A lot of Companies have a hiring Freeze on right now.....So don't give up on them to quick.

JJ is on his way to Salt lake and said he will call in and see what he can find out from recruiting department.

 

I sure hope jj can get something out of them ive been talking to russell baldwin if that helps. If he finds out something definate for me tell him i'll dance at his next wedding (lol)

 

Lol I will tell him that......if there is no one there in recruiting when he gets to West Valley he will have a quick chat to his FM Lynette and maybe she can find out for ya.

 

I havent had a problem geting a hold of my recruiter yet anyway, im set to start school in SLC on 1/5. I have to call on monday to get the details on how im geting there and all that. I hope everything works out good for you.
