Not to make this political (even though it turned into it).

Here are a few things.

Climate is not static.

climate change happens no matter if man is here or not. Some of the biggest changes in the earth's environment happened millions of years ago, and had nothing to do with cars, trucks or coal plants.

Right now we are seeing warming, which happened also 1000 years ago.

The entire global warming/man made climate change (GW/MMCC) is based on two things; one is computer models which are flawed because the data used for them are flawed, and the other is even a bigger problem, there is no consensus in science.

The climatologist can't even predict the weather with these computer models, and they have tons of data, so to predict what it is going to be like 100 years from now, they must think we are really stupid.

Much if not all the research is done by organizations which depend on funding to keep afloat and because there is a natural bias built into this funding, the results of the research is tainted and should be discounted as assumption and not fact which then if anyone has dug into any of it, will see that in order for the GW/MMCC advocates claim that the research is valid, they use this statement "there is a consensus in the scientific community ... blah blah blah" to defend it.

The EGR/DEF system is used for NOx control which is alright but the DPF is a particle filter used to keep diesel particles out of the air, and the mandate is not based on a single study here in the US but a couple from the European Union on diesel emissions and pollution, we don't have those problems and if we want to fight GW/MMCC, we need those particles to be around to shield us from the sun.

 

Those particulates you say that we need to shield us from the sun are the same ones that end up in people's lungs.
