Dont go with a company that does not give you enough power for a real refrigerator and a microwave.
In todays health conscious world, there is no excuse for making new hires eat nothing but truckstop food.
Inverter and or APU or no deal. Even for a training company.

Thanks everyone! Sounds like if I choose the right co, I'll be able to have a fridge in the truck... that would waste gas :p that i'll have to pay for but... that's cool as long as health first!

I was playing with the idea of using a cooler with lots of ice and just putting pre-made foods in there.

There actually are healthy choices at the truck stops. Winter is tough, because it's cold, your in the snow & wind, you get wet and cold, so consequently you tend to crave hot food more than salads and such like you might the other 8 months of the year.

Those fryers you can get for home, or the truck..obviously you wanna use it when stopped not while the truck is in motion. I shouldn't have to add that last part but eh...the world has a lot of Stup...err special people in it. ;)

A batter, some dogs...corn dog whenever you wish! Up to you on the dog..lab, beagle, terrier...err...I mean...beef, mix..whatever.

I encourage people to eat more healthy. Leaves all the good stuff for me.

An cue the Healthy eating riot/swat team to charge in with their diet books, an salads held high in glory to teach me the error of my ways.

It won't work though, I joined the dark side long ago. They have steak. The other side has Wheaties. Pfft.

Sirscrapntruckalot - Everything is bad for you, depending on who you ask.
